Welcome

I have never been one for keeping up with a journal. We'll see how this goes.

I am a mother who has student loans and can't imagine how I'd be a stay-at-home mom. I can't imagine how I'd do it financially. Mentally, I could do it. It probably wouldn't be the healthiest thing for me. I'm prone to cabin fever. That said, I admire those who are at home with their children. My best friend has three and is an awesome stay at-home-mom.

I come from a close family. We have extended family for every holiday. There are not many in my family who move out of state. I'm beyond even the neighboring states from my family and my husband's. This offers many advantages and yet many disadvantages.

I hope to explore these advantages and disadvantages on this blog. I also hope to improve my writing skills.
